$20,000something a year per family of 4 going to war costs? That’s like my college tuition right there. Imagine how many kids you can send to college with all that money.

I actually went to the Evanescence show here in Vancouver a little while back. We actually went to see Stone Sour which was opening the opening act. Stone Sour rocked it… Evanescence came on, and we left after the first song. It was horrible.

Hi Scott,
I congratulations on your pregnancy, I had a baby boy two weeks ago and took the birthing classes. My wife and I skipped out on the second class because we really only learned about 10% of information, my wife was a paramedic and has worked in the maternity ward. We did see the pregnancy video at the birthing class which really wasn’t bad, I myself am quite sqweamish when it comes to blood and organs, but the video was not all the bad, other than it being made in the 80′s and had cheesy titles and electronic music. My wife needed to have a c-section so we did not experience the natural birthing process. Anyways, the birthing process is exaggerated by movies and television, it’s nothing like that, it’s a lot of waiting, more than anything. Words of advice, eat plenty, drink lots of water, bring a laptop, and bring comfortable pillows. Best of wishes, your life will change forever, at least your sleeping patterns will.

i saw Evanescence with Cold on the Nintendo Fusion Tour. i coincidentally wore a Mario and Luigi t-shirt, and the guy at the promo booth was like, “Sweet shirt!” and then he threw me a brand new T-shirt that had Evanescence and Nintendo logos on it. This was 4 years ago and i still wear that shirt. i remember the bands being ok, not really my style though. but the shirt makes a good story!

Hey Scott,

I saw Evanescence when they still had all of the original band members, and it was a show with 12 Stones. The bands were awesome, you did not have any problem singing along or being able to recognize the songs. Of course we had all of that back up voices, I don’t remember whether the female voices were from tape or not. In this show the lead singer from 12 Stones was on stage for most of Evanescence’s set, singing and playing.

The only complaint I had was the venue, the stage was floating, so there was literally a moat between the crowd and the band. It gave an almost disconnected feeling at times, which all the bands made comments about.
