Jim,

Let me know what you think after you watch it. Michael Moore exaggerates some things, but the facts are pretty accurate.

Jim - I don't think I said I wouldn't consider looking at an American car. We just haven't yet.

Unfortunately though, the reality is that many american made cars just don't hold their value as well as an import. So, while I do agree that we need to try and buy american when we can, if it means that the same car will be worth 50% less than it's foreign brethren in 3 years, I can't justify that.

Hi Scott,

I was wondering, why you would not consider looking at an American made automobile? I’m amazed why so many people on the west coast or anywhere else will only drive foreign vehicles.
I understood this mindset back in the 80’s when you could not get a quality made American car for the same cost as foreign. American cars today are as good and often rate better in styling, safety and cost. If the people in this great country of ours were more conscious about there major purchases I feel we all would be much stronger. I live in Michigan near Detroit. We now have the number one unemployment rate in the country. For years the auto industry was the backbone of this country, now the backbone needs some help.

Thanks
