  1. my take on the TiVo dilemma via Utterz

  2. Nice Utter Monkey. Good strategy!

  3. Monkey,

We actually have 3 TiVo’s! Which creates even more of a dillemma! (I know, life is rough, isn’t it??)

We have the “main” one that is in the family room and records everything in HD. Then we have two older models, one in our bedroom and one in the loft. My wife actually does tape a lot of other shows on those two, as well as “duplicates” of we both watch on the “main HD box”.

But she doesn’t always “respect the HD” as much as I do. She’s fine watching something 20 feet away on a 19inch TV in mono sound. So now comes another whole “management scenerio” of the other two TiVo’s as well as the main one.

I’m pretty much in charge of the main one and she is in charge of the other two. I really don’t care too much about the other two anymore since they are not in HD and only use them as a backup to the main box…

WOW, that was pretty long winded….

    Hello Brian.
What do you think about “Charlie Wilson’s War” movie and Al-Qaeda?
What are your thoughts on this matter? Did Charlie do that?

    Hello Scott.
    Those questions were for you.
    Sorry Brain…

Mario Kart Wii rocks my socks. I just unlocked the Mirror Modes the other day. Every time the game loads up, I love yelling with the gang, “Mario Kart WHEEEEEEE!!!!!”

  7. We have a DVR in our main room. We both record a few shows we like, and then some others for her or for me. Most of the time we watch a show together, but when one of us is not there it varies on what happens. A lot of the time I don’t watch and wait. But sometimes I do watch if I know that later I have stuff to do, and she can catch up (she does the same).

But last night I was looking forward to watching a show, that she watched earlier in the day. So when I got home she wasn’t game for watching it again. Solution, we both ended up reorganizing our home library, didn’t watch TV, and I will be catching up later.

Past that, its a catch 22 every time, do I watch or don’t I.

On the smoking pot out of a skull, I’d say this is reaching a new low to get high :-)
