American Cliche #152

This week I’m gearing up for a trip back to Boston to visit my family. With the Celtics looking like they’ll clinch the title this evening, it’s a great time to be going back to the hometown. I am not looking forward to leaving Emma and Kim. We had such a great weekend with me celebrating my first Father’s Day, and now the last thing I want to do is be away from them for five days.

In other news, I was saddened and stunned by the death of Tim Russert. He was one of a handful of journalists that had a real impact on me. I can’t believe we’re going to go through this election season without him.

    Hey Scott,

I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed this weeks show. It was good to hear from some of the callers again. A little interaction between the show and it’s listeners is always entertaining. The length of the show was good too. I’ve been listening to American Cliche for awhile now and I’m glad that you’re keeping with it.

    Take it easy,

    Matthew

    Hey Scott and fellow listeners,
Although I have payed the penalty for being an early adopter of i phone. I feel satisfied with what I have currently. If the 3g is this cool, I can only imagine what the iphone 2 years from now is going to be!!!!! Congratulations Scott on laying down the SMACK DOWN on the Lakers. OMG…. that was a massacre. However in the world of American Football, I can’t wait to see how the Chargers preform. With a healthy team. They may be the team to beat. Anyone watch fĂștbol (soccer) and been following Euro2008????
    Take it easy,
    Felipe
