On the sushi topic.

This past spring my wife and my self took a trip to dallas, and visited the art museums. Great Matisse exhibit by the way. While we were driving around town we saw what looked like a pastry shop. Except for the sign in the window that said Sushi & Donuts.

Brain, looks like someone might be running with your idea.

We didn't stop, we couldn't bring ourselves to even try it. But we still laugh about it.

with the continued popularity and growth of sushi, I imagine it won't be long until there are some kid options.

Scott -- http://www.wikihow.com/Get-out-of-a-Cellular-Service-Contract

Brian -- Sounds like you actually had your son try sushi once. I can imagine it didn't go over too well. Hey, I just had an idea -- you mentioned happy meals, well what if there was a sushi restaurant that offered Kid Sushi options. I dunno -- chicken nuggets, french fries, even mac & cheese rolls all in chop-stick edible sushi form.

Any investors willing to back me on this?

I understand your computer issues as I am running a 5 year old Dell laptop and I am still using the original hard drive. I try to backup anything critical to other drives so that I don't loose anything if it dies. My iTunes library is on an external drive and my Quicken data is backed up to the web. Beyond that I don't have any critical data on it.

Meanwhile we recently got a 500GB WD MyBook drive to backup my wife's iMac.

On the topic of oil, I have to disagree with the idea of releasing the strategic reserves. They are there for and emergency. $4+/gal gas is not an emergency. It sucks, it's an inconvenience to some and a burden to others, but it's not an emergency. Our gas finally hit a minimum of $4 in my neighborhood and I'm feeling the crunch. The jump from $30/week to over $45 has been a big one for my tight budget. However all these short-term fixes aren't going to do it.

The fix is already starting, GM announced drops of 40% in Hummer sales and 20% in truck sales. Trucks and SUVs are being dumped like a bad habit all over the country. The biggest advertising point for a car these days is the magical MPG number. Oil consumption is down over last year. THAT is the real, long-term fix.
