The Time is Now

For the last 3 and a half years, I’ve had a lot to say. We’ve done 170 episodes of American Cliche and we’ve talked about everything under the sun. One thing I’ve always tried to weave as a theme into the show is the spirit of hope and community. Sure, there is sarcasm woven into everything I do (that’s just who I am), but there is always the underpinnings of hope and taking care of your fellow man.

Tomorrow is election day. It’s the most important election of my lifetime. Maybe ever. I’m asking you all to go to the polls and vote for Barack Obama. He represents the best hope our country has for unity. He represents the change we need for our economy, foreign policy, and the environment. In short, he is the leader we’ve been waiting for.

I know the lines will be long. I know that sometimes we think our vote doesn’t matter that much. It does. Please stick it out and vote. Think about all the battles that people before us have fought so that we could have the privilege of choosing our leaders.

I know that we’re going to have lots to celebrate in the coming weeks. A new day is coming and I can’t wait to share it with all of you.

Watch in Quicktime.
