Hey Scott,

I've been inspired by speeches made by presidents of the past(before my lifetime), but Obama was the first president(elect) in my lifetime(I'm 36). I was also really disapointed to hear about the unwanted text your wife received. I would definitely report this to your carrier, you may have even been charged for the text. I am really looking forward to the next 4 years and I have high hopes for some amazing things to happen in our country.

Enjoy your break and I look forward to you comming back to the show.

Hi Scott,

Congrats from Spain!! I've been following the show for quite long and I know how important this is 4 u, and actually for all the americans also. I absolutely share your opinion that Obama is the right choice.
You've asked sometimes for the opinion of the people from abroad, I've watched some speaches from both, seen the news (from several sources), and reviewed their trajectory, and there's no doubt. I don't know much about world economy and other important matters but just the trust that Mr Obama transmits joined with his knowledge and preparation is enough for me.

But the most important thing that I see here is the fact that he is the first afroamerican president of the US, that's amazing for me (and probably incredible just some years ago) and makes me think we are maturing and growing in humanity. And I speak in plural because this stupid racism is in everywhere, (more or less intense, but everywhere)

Choosing Mr Obama, americans have been able to see beyond the color of the skin and prejudices and that's something to be proud of.

So, once again, my most sincere congratulations!

Yours,
Ernesto Barberá

Hey Scott

First of all, congratulations on the victory of Barack Obama.
I have just watched Obama’s victory speech in Chicago, and today I feel a citizen of the planet. I now know what the feeling weas amongst my parents in the time of John F. Kennedy. This is a victory that heralds change not only in your United States of America, but will echo that change around the world.
This election, I feel, has been more closely scrutinized than any other in history. Peoples of all countries, with the aid of the internet, broadband connections, streaming video, have followed closely the ongoing drama.
I look forward to the ensuing days and years. Good luck.
Sincerely
Mark

Glad you voted Tiffany. So far, the polls in NH seem to be fairly problem-free.

Hey Scott- I hit the polls at 6:40 this morning before they opened and the lines were insane. As a first time voter, I was happy to hear people commenting on the size of the turnout. Can't wait to hear your updates!
