Hi Scott!
I managed to get the show downloaded and transfered to my iPod this morning so I could listen to it on the bus to school! Nice mix of content as always and I really liked the music in this weeks episode!
I agree that Obama already have done some great changes, but I’m skeptical to whether he will be able to establish some kind of peace between Israel and Palesitnians. He has done a lot of statements in which he clearly says that he support and defend Israel’s sake. As long as he continues to take the Israeli party, well anyones party really, he will not even be able to negotiate about a solution. But this is just my personal thoughts, and I hope as much as anyone for an end of the conflict.
What’s the main opinion on this issue in the US?
I have hardly heard anyone speak about this, especially not in little neutral Sweden… Why do you think this is?
I wasn’t able to come up with any stories this week either, as I haven’t heard of any bizarre ones lately. I heard something about a man that got covered in bread today… Well well
Talk to you next week!

I think it is a mistake to always say that we support any country, no matter what. I understand the need for allies, but you’re right different situations warrant different nuanced approaches and it can break down a peace process before it ever starts if you go in voicing your support for one country or group.
I think President Obama (still feels great to say that) has done a good job of extending a hand in a way that we haven’t done in a long time. It’s a start to the healing of relationships with these nations.
Lisa – love that the show is bringing together people on Facebook! Thanks for sharing that!

Brian…….. c’mon back man!! We need the Mighty Minute. Your random thoughts are great.
Hi Scott,
The PETA ad was pretty amazing.. I think it should have been accepted. Personally, that did not seem too “hard core” to me. I think the Superbowl crowd would have been able 2 handle it! Oh well, good effort on PETA’s part because it still got them the attention they wanted. Clever actually. It was a win win for them. It’s awesome that your daughter is walking now. How exciting!!

the PETA advert – well, it was, um, curious…. i’m surprised that they went to the lowest common denominator to try and get across their point.
having said that i suppose it depends what their aim was, if it was simply to get their name mentioned, job done. if they were looking for any more serious interest in their aims, probably missed that target.

Scott,
I wouldn’t be surprised if you have already read this
article on Alternet, but if you haven’t it is quite enjoyable to read. To anybody who has not heard of Alternet.org go there sometime and check out the articles. Most are very well written and informative.

If you are in not good state and have no cash to go out from that point, you would have to receive the mortgage loans. Just because that will help you unquestionably. I take car loan every year and feel myself great just because of it.
