As I’m recording this, the power is out due to a wildfire in Santa Barbara. In a completely unrelated set of circumstances, my hot water heater broke and they can’t repair it for two days. Last week my plumbing had to have roots removed from growing in it. And, to top it all off, Emma bit her playmate three times today. Life is grand, ain’t it?

Wow things seem quite quiet in the comments section recently.
Seems the fires are finally letting up in Santa Barbara, though things aren’t nearly OK there considering that it is only the beginning of the fire season. I imagine it will be a touch and go kind of summer. Hope you and your family and house made it through OK.

Well i just listened to this past weeks podcast and felt like I really needed to chime in about the comments that Aron made about Conservatism and Socialism. I thought that it was a little weird that he was so against socialism living in Canada. By most standards Canada is alot more socialist that our US brothers to the south.. THANK God for that! The fact that if i need to go to the hospital or see a doctor weather im rich or poor and get the exact same care for FREE is just one of the many reasons I am so proud to be Canadian. The fact that what ever your sexual preference you have the same rights across the board. Im OK with that. Conservative government crushes the little guy, claims to be Christian or have at least Christian values which i find absurd and just look out for the RICH B@STERDS that put them in office. Quite frankly I think that Canada is going down the $hitter because of our current Conservative Government/Leader and there goal to act like idiot George W. Sorry for the rant.

Scott, I am a HUGE fan of the show and I look forward to downloading it weekly. It’s always a treat to get your perspective on the worlds current events. Living in Idaho, although beautiful tends to be a little backwards thinking, so I like tuning in and hearing your fresh opinion.
A couple of questions: What happened to the “Dirt bag of the week” part of your show? What do you think of the Adam Corolla podcast?

Nothing happened to the Dirtbag of the week, I just haven’t had it in the forefront of my mind lately. Listen to this week’s show, we’ll be bring back two old favorites.
As for Adam Carolla – I had never actually listened to it until you brought it up. I’ve heard a lot about it, but hadn’t had the chance. It’s good. It seems like it’s basically his FM radio show with more f’ bombs.
