Kim and I’s friend Arthur is an attorney in Los Angeles and he appears in this clip so it makes all the more touching for me.

Youtube is blocked for me for the time being and I’m too lazy to turn on my proxy, but I’m glad to see that you (a happily married straight guy) has at least in some limited extent taken to the cause of same-sex marriage and in a public way at that. We certainly need more people like you supporting basic civil rights.

Chris – do you listen to the show regularly? If you did, you’d know that Kim and I are huge supporters of gay right and equality for all. I have talked extensively about Prop 8 here in California. So, it bothers me a bit when you say that “taken to the cause at least in some limited extent.”
So while I think your post was meant to be a compliment, I don’t think you know really how important this issue is to me.
