Hey Scott,

As a Bible believing Christian, it makes me sick when people claim the name of my Savior to further their own agenda. It happens far too often. There's a passage in the Bible that conservatives somehow seem to conveniently overlook when there's a Democrat in office. Check out Romans 13...

"Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted."

Seems pretty clear to me! In other words, anyone who is anti-Obama is anti-Bible and anti-Christian.

Imprecatory Prayer

I spoke to several pastors about this. They all agreed that this is a perversion of the scripture. They also questioned his motive and mental health. Most true followers who did not vote for Obama, still voted for him to have good spiritual guidance.

Traditionally this activity was used to curse your enemies in battle. Later used to curse malevolent despots. People who were truly evil and that there was no way of rendering powerless.

Scenario A... a fundamental christian in the Secret Service that believes in the power of prayer. Would that agent believe this to be a viable threat? Would they be obligated by their oath/faith to respond?

Scenario B... Obama lives to be 98. Obviously your malevolent prayer petition has been rejected by God. Were you not trying to get the Lord to be a hit man for your motives that he did not share.

Judgment day may be unkind to Willie Drake.
