Hi Scott, thanks for all your hard work in entertaining us. I had a question for you. This is TOTALLY off the topic of your show, but I thought you might know something about it. You always talk about Mia the Wonderdog, so I know you love your dog. Do you by any chance have pet insurance? If you do, do you think it’s worth it? If you don’t, why not? I am considering getting it, but it’s really expensive. Just wanted to know what you think. Sorry this is so random. You don’t have to reply if you don’t want. Thanks for reading this!
Have fun on your trip with Emma. I found a couple of links you might want to check out:

Hi Joyce,
As I understand it, pet insurance is one of things that’s great if you get it while your dog is a puppy or has an otherwise clean bill of health. We inquired about it for Mia several years back, but because she had already had a hernia and had a cancer and a procedure to remoce tumors from her chest, they would have most-likely denied any future claims around the majority of her health problems.
I think if you can afford it and do you research, I think it can be a decent way to manage healthcare costs for your pet.
Good luck and let us know what you decide.
Anyone else have an opinion or comment?

Hey Scott,
In the UK right now theres a battle for the christmas number spot between rage against the machine and a music show we have here called the X factor similar to American idol. Dont know if you know the situation, but the X factor shows winning contestant has gone on to have a number 1 christmas single for the last 6 years, and a Facebook group (which im part of) has gathered to stop this happening again, nominating rage against the machine’s killing in the name of for no.1, which is actually winning at the moment.
This has been done to stop Simon Cowell and his music corporate chums from giving us more manufactured music pop crap, that is in my view destroying the music industry and preventing real bands and musicians from shining.
Would just like your thoughts on the current music industry and what you think of this battle between RATM and Simon Cowells manufactured pop.
Thanks for the great work!

In reference to Jonathan Ayres comments, I read an article about that on Yahoo last week and I thought that was amazing! I despise the corporate music industry and miss great bands like Rage Against the Machine! I also believe considering your job (working for a social media company) that your take on the situation would be very interesting.
Love the show, hope your holiday season has been great!
