  1. BP aren’t apologising, because apparently the oil rig was contracted to another company. They should accept that they screwed up.

Something like the Arizona law was bound to happen in the recession, even though I don’t think there has been any increase in illegal immigration to Arizona (in fact, I think that it went down). Things like that make me sad.

That comment was really harsh on Americans, but there definitely is some backward thinking/deterioration of standards in schools, maybe also some failure to compensate for a global economy (although I’m no economist).

It would’ve been nice of you to mention the UK election (voting TODAY May 6th). A lot of the same issues have arisen this side of the pond. Maybe in 5 years for the next one? :P

  2. As far as not mentioning the elections in the UK, my apologies. Not enough time to cover everything Im afraid. That said, who do you think should be elected?

  3. -from what I’ve read, Haliburton was involved in the oil platform in some capacity. Draw your own conclusions.

-as for AZ, illegal immigration has increased and is a mess. Smuggling and what not has become increasingly violent. I don’t know if this law will help, but it is not as dramatic as the media and protesters are making it. It gives AZ the same power and then same fines that the federal government has. Obviously the toughest part is giving the power to law enforcement to ask anyone ifnthey are a citizen. But what else could they do?? It is this way in many other countries. When I was in Chile once, I got asked if I was a citizen and if I had a passport. (probably because of my horrible Spanish).

I’m happy to see you doing a show, it was great as usual. I am more than outraged at the whole fuckup in the Gulf, I can’t believe that this is happening. When will humanity wake up and realize we are destroying our planet??? I think what pisses me off the most is the dick head CEO of BP appearing on tv trying to say it’s not their fault. Then the fact that BP was going around and trying to get Gulf residents to sign waivers promising they won’t sue in exchange for work is so fucking disgusting to me. I am a capitalist and I have no problem with people trying to make a ton of money, but at what point do you sell your soul for cash? Seriously how the hell can that guy sleep at night while trying to pass the blame?

On a small side note, I had heard BP is one of four western oil companies who got control of the oil fields in Iraq, so they damn sure have the money to clean up their mess.

    Keep up the good work.
