I saw this video this morning and wanted to share it. I think it’s a really well-done piece about same-sex marriage.

Kim and I’s friend Arthur is an attorney in Los Angeles and he appears in this clip so it makes all the more touching for me.

I thought this was a funny way to start my Monday morning.

With all the astroturfing going on by Fox News around the tea parties, it made my Friday to see Fox News have their asses handed to them by Stephen Colbert.

I’m taking this week off from the show – call it a “birthday break.” I’ll be back next week ready to dazzle and amaze, or err, at least to do a show.

I saw this on SNL this weekend and had to share. Maybe this stuff is funnier because I have a one year old, but I don’t think so. I think it’s funny no matter what. Smells like dinner!

Producer Manny passed this on to me. It’s funny, but so true at the same time. It’s an interesting time we live in – in business you don’t have to be good, or even competent, you just have to be big enough to get a government bailout.

I have been relatively quiet since last week’s show. The time off has been nice honestly. Here in California, my friends and family are still pretty upset about Prop 8 – the controversial measure that took aware the rights of same sex couples to marry. How can we have taken such a step forward with the election of Barack Obama, but a step back with the passing on this Proposition?

I think Keith Olbermann of MSNBC said it better than I ever could. Your comments are welcome and appreciated.
