You are an inspiration Scott. Thank you for sharing so much over the years, I will miss hearing your familiar voice.
I am sure one day our paths will cross somewhere in the world and I look forward to meeting you and talking about AC over a coffee.
Take care and keep inspiring people.

Scott,
Just finished listening to the show. Congratulations on a terrific body of work. Reading these comments, you made a difference in lives. You affected people, man. A LOT of people. I know you get that, and it’s truly an awesome thing.
Michael Jordan, Deadwood, Stevie Ray Vaughn…
All incredible things that had to come to an end. American Cliche can go in that list for you. Well done is better than well said. And remember this, wherever you go, whatever you do, you STILL ended your series better than the Sopranos ended theirs. Keep in touch. You stay classy Santa Barbara.

Enjoyed your shows and wish you the best in your new job.
While Googling the, um, “dog story” I came across this in the newspaper which reported it

Scott,
Awesome show!! It was good to hear the three of you together again! I now remember why I feel in love with cliche. It was never the same after Jason left and so glad to have been able to follow American Cliche. I wish you all the best to you, Brian and Jason. Congratulations with 260 episodes and to the next chapter in your life!
Thank you for all the wonderful memories and stories,
Christina

Well, and that was that…
It has been a long time since I started listening to the show, and although I can’t say I didn’t miss a single episode, I feel like you Scott are an actual friend. It has been a one-side story, yes, but the truth is we’ve been with you from everything from the adventures of Mia the wonder dog, to the birth of Emma and even your separation from Kim. To me, it’s like not only about hearing news or funny stories, but also about getting to know someone and care for them, even if you’ve never actually met that person.
Thanks a lot for this great show, and remember to share your next project with us!
Greetings from Mexico!!

I didn’t listen from the beginning, but it feels like near enough. Your podcast saw me through my masters, a failed phd, and nearly through my teaching degree.
I have loved listening to your thoughts and musings on life, politics, music etc and I’m sad you won’t pop up in my iTunes anymore. Like everyone else here I totally understand why, and I’m also sorry I never donated, being a student for 7 years isn’t great for your finances
Thank you, for all your hard work, for your dedication, for letting me (us) into your life and your head.
I wish you the best of luck with all your future endeavours. I’m sure a man with your considerable talent and positive outlook has only the best of life coming to him.
Thanks again

It’s sad. No more episodes.
Good luck, and see you on the web.
Best wishes.

Just learned the show is over.
The final four parts was a great way to end it, as was Styx’s song.
Thanks a lot for entertaining us and for being this genuine guy who spoke out his mind.
Oh and continue spreading the 80s metal music like you did! Used to hate it; you made me change my opinion on that for sure!

I also… too late, just found out that the show’s over… too bad
I really loved it. I want to thank you for all the inspiration. The final episode was also very lovely and nice to hear those guys again! You did a great thing, it may go you well.
All the best wishes (and a Happy Christmas and Happy 2012).
Greetings from Voorburg (The Netherlands, Europe).
